Secretary of State Blinken will press Chinese officials on a wide range of issues, including its support for Russia, cheap Chinese exports that U.S. officials say threaten American jobs, and Chinese ships’ aggressive maneuvers in the South China Sea, a senior State Department official told reporters in a telephone briefing.
Western officials have grown increasingly vocal about concerns that China is backing Russia in its war in Ukraine.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, during her own visit to China earlier this month, warned of “significant consequences” if Beijing provides material support.
Chinese officials are likely to bring up American support for Taiwan, the self-governing island that China claims, and trade restrictions that Beijing calls discriminatory.
Blinken complains about China "assisting Russia with its military industrial base"
Meanwhile, the US ships weapons to 57% of the world's "Autocracies", it sells more weapons than Russia, China and India combined, and has killed 12 million human beings since the end of WW2.

Blinken said that China is the "primary contributor" to Russia's military-industrial complex and cannot maintain good relations with the West while simultaneously supporting Russia's war effort. China can't have it both ways. And European powers will have to choose sides
I think sanctions against China will start soon. The empire is starting to crumble
Telling BRICS members not to trade lol
@OtterWillLibertarian3wks3W
The United States is begging China to stop trade with Russia after launching a campaign to ban TikTok and other Chinese companies. The cognitive dissonance of the American political class needs to be studied
@JaguarAutumnForward3wks3W
What will be the next website or app to be banned under the sweeping censorship powers created by the "TikTok" bill? Obviously it doesn't end here.
@OtterWillLibertarian3wks3W
Remember, it only requires minimum 20% of outside share holders.

Not to mention that trojan horse Bill 702 that NO ONE paid attention to or even know it happened.

How do you think a country should respond if it is warned of 'significant consequences' by another nation for its actions? Should it stand its ground, compromise, or change its course entirely?
@9LSNBB4Republican3wks3W
A country, if threatened by a mutual power, should absolutely stand its ground. Super power countries should be just that, a super power and not stand down to any country and if it means war, it means war. But war shouldn't be necessary as most problems can be solved with long, strategic talks to improve life for both sides. Each side should benefit and no one should lose more than the other.
@9LSN72G3wks3W
With the lives being lost in Ukrane an end to the war is essential.

How would you feel if your country was asked to stop trading with one of its major partners to take a moral stand? Would you support or oppose it, and why?
@9LSTYXXRepublican3wks3W
I wouldn't support it because I feel like the prices for simple goods would increase causing there to be major crashes in the market.
@9LSSXXW3wks3W
I am not involved enough to make an informed decision.
