How do you guard against the spread of misinformation in the age of digital media, and what's your strategy?

I think that there is no perfect solution to stopping the spread of misinformation without limits peoples rights to freedom of speech, the best solution would be to spend more funds on education and try to make it more available to all people so they wont look for all their information on the internet, and if they were to they know what to look for and more or less what to believe based on prior knowledge taught in school.

Not allowing to much information about myself to be posted and keeping away from toxic people on the enternet.

Fact check everything before it is sent out AND make sure that every news story has multiple sources/accounts.
