Should politicians be guided by their religious beliefs, or should they keep religion out of their policy-making?

They should do what is best to represent who elected them while ensuring their actions are not applying a belief to everyone as the US is diverse

No, definitely not, one cannot decide the future of the country based on emotions or religious feelings. Religion can influence the thoughts of political leaders and that is fine since they have complete freedom to believe what they want, but they cannot impose what they believe is correct if this could affect the nation.

I think politicians should keep religion out of their policy-making.
