Yes, that’s the entire idea of democracy. Politics create discussion and when somebody heeds the call to vote it invites conversations that could potentially change output, views and ultimately educate voters on the topics that are being polled on. Everyone deserves equal footing in government and we should communicate with each other more diplomatically rather than treating politics as a war against each other.
