Yes, because I believe our current capitalist system lets the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The wealth gap has been rising every year because the rich are allowed to do what they want and keep the lower classes below them. Sure, the rich are taxed more than the poor, but there are loopholes to get around those taxes that let the rich grow unchecked. Wealth will never be better distributed if we allow the system to continue the way it is.
@9H7MC2G5mos5MO
I think that our capitalistic society benefits the rich much more than the poor, and there is too big a wealth gap between the two. I think that large multi billion dollar corporations should pay higher taxes than poorer people and the government should then use the extra money for programs for the poor.

@9H9NFLH5mos5MO
I would try to help bridge the wealth disparity created between the rich and the poor as a result of capitalist systems.
@9H9N8YT5mos5MO
We should impose more taxes on the rich and prevent these rich people/companies from creating monopolies or trying to evade paying taxes in order to keep our economy stable. This could also give more opportunities for the poor or lower-class people to live a stable life.
@9H9MBBF5mos5MO
I would create a policy similar to the Sherman anti-trust act so that the huge mega corporations are less powerful and so that the funds accumulated by them can be allocated to things that require economic backing like higher education and healthcare.
I would reform the system into one that maintains a proper social safety net, encouraging the Nordic capitalist system. This system would additionally provide higher regulation on large corporations to protect workers, consumers, and the environment
@9H9P7NC5mos5MO
Not qualified to make changes to the system, but would want reworking to the education/school system
@9HBGV7B5mos5MO

Yes, I would decrease the economic gap between the poor and wealthy and tax the wealthy as well as corporations more to improve infrastructure and systems for the good of all people
@9H9NRVX5mos5MO
The American capitalist system has always provided more for the wealthy than the impoverished. In order to start eliminating this bias the rich must pay more taxes than they do right now.
@9HBRC5N5mos5MO
I don’t have any changes in mind that would be worth doing but if I had any I probably would
@9HBPJV25mos5MO
I would try to help bridge the wealth disparity created between the rich and the poor as a result of capitalist systems.
@9H9M49F5mos5MO
There is some lacking in the capitalist system, where the poor remain poor while the rich get richer. There should at least be some help for poorer people who can't afford basic needs like food, water, etc.
@9HBPNF4Republican5mos5MO
If I had power in a capitalist society I would not make any changes to the current system.
@9HBRFC65mos5MO
Are system is good because multiple other countries copied are system showing that it's not a very heavily flawed system
@9HBPST65mos5MO
I would aim to change the treasury department's powers to combat rising inflation and to combat large institutions that opt to throw morals out the window.
@9H7RTH95mos5MO
i would not change it because it is a game you have to learn and be great at.
@9H8VJZR5mos5MO
If i had the power,i would make any changes to the current capitalist system.
@9H8FP9B5mos5MO
I would focus on creating a more equitable and inclusive economy, this could involve implementing policies that address income inequality, ensure fair wages, and provide adequate social safety nets for all individuals.
@9HBRDBB5mos5MO
Outlaw communism, facism, nazism and other extremisms.
@9H9NXPQ5mos5MO
I believe that there are parts of it that don't make much sense to me but I can't think of a better system.
@9H9PJD75mos5MO
I would make a more mixed economy ideologically to implement beneficial policies from other economic stances to ours
@9HB6ZS65mos5MO
I think I would change the ability to give more opportunity for people to be self-made successful.
@9HB7274 5mos5MO
Big companies are gaining too much power and influence and do not have the peoples interests in mind. Socialism puts people over profit.
@9HBQ3SP5mos5MO
Yes, I believe our capitalist system is built to build up the rich and allow the poor the suffer more than they already have. I think the richer you are the more taxes you should pay, why should poor people pay the same amount of tax a billionaire pays?
@9HB5VRZ5mos5MO
I wouldn't make any changes because I don't know much about capitalism.
@9H6JC465mos5MO
Socialize some of the more important things such as healthcare, and put some restrictions on monopolies
@9HBPW985mos5MO
Yes because I believe there is more being given to the more wealthy than the poor.
@9H84NYL5mos5MO
If I had the power to make any changes to the current capitalist system I would lower taxes on the poor and tax the rich more.
@9HB5VKT5mos5MO
If I had the power I would make it so that the profit gained from capitalism is distributed fairly according to work to everyone, and not disproportionately to the elites/corporations.
@9H9NKRK5mos5MO
Yes, I would hold businesses more accountable for economic decisions affecting others' livelihoods.
@9HBQMH85mos5MO
capitalism is arguably the economic system that has shown to work the best, If anything we need to go back into our orignail ideas of capitalism and mercantilism
@9H9Q4CD5mos5MO
I would provide more tax breaks for education purposes so people can be more informed and better contributors to society.
@9H8VWHR5mos5MO
I would tax billionaires to help out lower income people. I would raise the minimum wage to $20.00 an hour. I would make healthcare free, college free and make Black history, native American history, Asian history and all American history accessible in public schools. I would limit police budgets to help out more community based programs.
@9H8CG6K5mos5MO
Yes, corruption from every party is the issue at large. If i had the Power i would stop it, but i don't also the irs needs abolished and everyone should pay a flat tax.
@9H93VYD5mos5MO
I would seek to make change but only if the change is beneficial, I would look to see what I can do that would be beneficial rather than acting blindly and having to face large consequences later on due to my decisions.
Yes, although some things might not benefit everyone, it is beter for the envirnoment and it will make the world a better place.
@9H8JCK35mos5MO
The government may not intervene whenever they like, but rather have plausible and inspired reasons for economic intervention
@9HBRM8M5mos5MO
I believe our current capitalist system benefits the 1% far more than anyone else. It should be overturned entirely, and rethought.
@45TX9V3 5mos5MO
I would make a more compassionate capitalism. One that ensures that the poor are also taken care of while maintaining the freedom of markets to determine prices.
@9H8LXPJRepublican5mos5MO
Many people would not like me but with my beliefs and me being a republican, I have dealt with democrats' a certain amount. I believe in certain things that trump was on his way to do but people got mad and impeached him and many democrats are regretting that and wanting Biden to do some of the things that Trump was on his way to do. When trump was in office we had the lowest gas prices in history, in equal to minimum wage
@9H8C9W85mos5MO
I believe capitalism works only in specific situations. At the moment in America, capitalism has failed the lower and middle class, while extremely benefitting the upper class.
@9H6SBN5 5mos5MO
I'd redistribute the wealth, not evenly, but not in the hands of the 1% and make it impossible for that 1% to ever happen again through policy and law, as well as hard trust busting.
@9H7M9YM5mos5MO
In allowing each individual to act unhampered by government regulations, capitalism causes wealth to be created in the most efficient manner possible which ultimately raises the standard of living, increases the economic opportunities, and makes available an ever growing supply of products for everyone.
@9HBPZRF5mos5MO
Yes, everything I have said in this survey. It's not the best, but it's better then communism
@9H7S4K85mos5MO
I would change a lot due to how the government is treating its citizens.
expand public services while still utilizing a market economy
