You believe that human ingenuity and technological advancements will ultimately provide solutions to resource scarcity and environmental challenges, leading to a prosperous and sustainable future.
Cornucopianism is a political ideology that is optimistic about the ability of human beings to adapt and innovate in order to overcome scarcity and environmental challenges. The term "Cornucopian" is derived from the "horn of plenty" in Greek mythology, which was always filled with whatever the owner wished for, symbolizing abundance. Cornucopians believe that the earth has an abundance of natural resources and that human ingenuity and free markets will inevitably lead to technological advancements that make these resources more accessible or create substitutes.

If Earth's resources are finite, can human innovation truly circumvent all natural limitations, or is there a breaking point?
@9H326BY6mos6MO
No non-organic resources are exclusive to earth and can be extracted from other celestial bodies.
@9H2ZPYX6mos6MO
I believe that there is only so much we can develop, the only limitation we have is the ability to create an invention.

@9H9SST56mos6MO
I would say the earths rejection to earths finest resources and technologically replace on what’s happening
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
How would an unending supply of resources shape your thoughts on population growth and urban development?
@9JKWF324mos4MO
Only grow when it’s needed and too much of anything is bad.
@9JLYSTZ4mos4MO
If we had unending resources, we'd have to more fully consider how that would shape our society. While we as individuals may think that the "only what is needed" approach is more beneficial, there's more at play here. We don't know what this would be like and it could up-end society or provide a more agreeable world where people were taken care of. We just don't know. I think the topic is interesting, however, and deserves further research.
@9JKXDDS4mos4MO
Even if the resources were unlimited, we simply do not have the space needed to support an ever growing population, and doing so would take a toll on our planet's health
@9JKWQLM4mos4MO
I think it would develop the world a lot but in reality I with they wouldn't, just to keep some kind of nature preserved

If you had the power to invent one thing to improve the lives of millions, what would it be and why?
@9KW827BPeace and Freedom2mos2MO
My invention would have to be better paying jobs for low income corporations
@9KW7YDR2mos2MO
Cleaner, quicker, and infinitely renewable energy resource.
@9KW88Z9Women’s Equality2mos2MO
A type of a device that could produce enough energy that would make the uses of powerplants minimal.

How might the constant belief in abundance affect our attitude toward environmental conservation and responsibility?
The constant belief in abundance associated with Cornucopianism can foster complacency towards environmental conservation, as it relies heavily on optimism, technological solutions, and may undermine the urgency and importance of sustainable practices.
@9H2ZPYX6mos6MO
The belief of cornucopianism allows society to embellish new technological advances to help live our lives.
@9H2ZJ2D6mos6MO
Personally, it mostly the responsibility of corporations, who produce the most gas into the atmosphere, not the average joe.

@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
In an abundance-driven future, what do you think would define personal success and fulfillment?
@9KJ4PLYRepublican3mos3MO
Wealthier, healthier, enjoying life, and having a nice car collection.
@9KJ3TB93mos3MO
Everyone has their own goals in life, nothing should define personal success or fulfillment.
@9KJ3HZS3mos3MO
I think this varies from person to person. Everyone has different definitions of success and what it means to them to be fulfilled.
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
Can you imagine a lifestyle where waste is completely eliminated; how would that affect our daily rituals?
@9KFYCCMLibertarian3mos3MO
I do not think waste can be completely eliminated.
@9KMNWNFRepublican2mos2MO
Creating waste is a natural part of society, while we can reduce it I do not believe we will ever completely eliminate it.
@9KFY83Z3mos3MO
That likely wouldn't affect daily life all too much.
@9KFY828Libertarian3mos3MO
We'd be able to have more land to do things on and our rivers and water would be cleaner.
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
Imagine a world where technological breakthroughs have solved hunger; how would this change international relations?
@9KP3FSF2mos2MO
I feel like governments around the world would start to restrict access to many forms of technology as a way to start taxing citizens because if the world isn’t in debt, going through hunger, or famine then they wont be able to capitalize on their greed
@9KT9HN9Peace and Freedom2mos2MO
The government likes to always have something that they are in control of and if they don't have hunger to weigh over people then they will weigh access to technology over them.
@9KT7MJTPeace and Freedom2mos2MO
This would change international relations because more allies would be created.
@9KP3KF42mos2MO
The US would not be providing so much aid across the world.
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
Does the concept of unlimited resources make you more hopeful or skeptical about the future, and why?
@9KW7XZ72mos2MO
It leads me be skeptical because yes having unlimited resources sounds useful but at what cost do we get these unlimited resources.
@9KW7WWM 2mos2MO
Skeptical, because there’s blatant disregard for the ecosystems at the business production scale with workarounds and neglect of the present issues in support of bottom dollar
@9KW7TWFIndependent2mos2MO
Hopeful, we should all work together for a brighter future!
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
Is it more important to inspire young minds to innovate for the future or to teach the principles of conservation and why?
@9HWCQBP5mos5MO
It is more important to inspire young minds to innovate for the future.
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
How do you feel about the idea that every problem we face can have a technological solution?
@9KVYVKG2mos2MO
Not every problem can be solved by technology but a good chunk of our problems can be. I say we solve what we can with technology but don't forget to try without it first
@9KVYSXW2mos2MO
I feel like we should try to solve problems by ourselves and not rely on technology
@9KRNSR52mos2MO
It is scary sometimes that technology is constantly evolving
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
How might the belief that 'everything is possible' with technology shape our future goals and global priorities?
@9HTPLLK5mos5MO
Everything is achievable no matter what, in our galaxy we have iron and similar stuff we find on earth.
@ISIDEWITH5mos5MO
How can individuals' small innovations contribute to overcoming global environmental and resource challenges?
@9HWCK2K5mos5MO
The little things make a big impact, the more popular, the more people wanting to do it and create their own thing.
@9HTPC9BRepublican5mos5MO
They can advertise the clean up of areas and the can contribute to the clean up
